TALES IN MILAN

Villa invernizzi
MICHELE DEL RE, IL SEGRETO DEL GIARDINO DEL SOGNO

Are we still be able to be amazed? How often do we really stop for a moment being struck at seeing something unexpectedly unique and beautiful?

Today we take the path of wonder, walking in the heart of Milan, and, through the arch of Via Salvini designed by Piero Portaluppi we reach Villa Invernizzi.

Immediately we recapture the excitement and wonder of our childhood: from the street we catch a glimpse of a small group of pink flamingos in the garden. Every day many stop to observe, through the eyes of an unexpected encounter, this tiny colony of flamingos that elegantly moves between green spaces, sporting the thick pink plumage. The garden also has a small lake where in summer the flamingos find some coolness: this garden represents a poetic as well as exotic oasis in Milan, an unexpected surprise and a street, Via Cappuccini, which is a legacy for the city. We suddenly recover the charm of a special fragrance, reminding us the most magical moments of our past, making us relive unique and valuable emotions.
