#10 The Art of the Brick at La Fabbrica del Vapore
Nathan Sawaya is a young American lawyer who gave up his job to devote himself entirely to his art: imagination, colour and creativity expressed through Lego bricks, the same all of us used to play with.
At the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milano (a 1600 sqm space) he offers us a path twisting among more than 100 “sculptures”, entirely made of over a million bricks, depicting dinosaurs, superheroes, but also reconstructions of famous works of art - from Leonardo's Mona Lisa to the Venus of Milo - and various human archetypes.
Not only the works make smile and entertain, but they involve the viewer making him think about the human nature, the surface but also the depth of human beings, the chance that every one of us has to interpret the reality in an original and unique way. For this reason the exhibition is suitable for children of all ages, from 4 years old on. #10 The story of the woman without a shadow
A beautiful fairytale, full of poetry, “The woman without a shadow” is Hofmannsthal’s narrative epilogue before he started dedicating to theatre plays and it brings us to fantastic dimensions, to the primal expression of our emotions. The plot is classic and contains all the necessary elements for a fairytale: the supernatural element, fear, dealing with and overcoming adversity and the final redemption. The main character is a princess of fairies - a woman without a shadow, even in the literal sense that her body does not cast any shadow - who loves and marries a human emperor. In order to live with him, she has to redeem her magical nature and become mortal. Like all fairytales, it is somehow moralistic, it has the power to bring us back to our earliest dreams, which may be buried under the tyrannical daily routine but indeed they’re always ready to awaken thanks to the imagination. A gentle and moving tale, for which it is really worth forgetting our sorrows and turning on a reading light. A pure Rebirth.

#9 When the skin is thirsty
The skin is a major organ for our well-being, the largest of our body, often underestimated in its demands. Among these, one of the most important is hydration. It affects all skin types, as not only "dry" skins, but also "fat" ones can dehydrate. When does this happen?
We talk about dehydrated skin when the moisture level is below the minimum threshold (10%). A dehydrated skin has a lack of water, so it is fragile and inelastic. Its colour may appear gray. These conditions - that may occur in particular times of stress - make it vulnerable and it can be easily attacked by external agents. What should we do in these cases? First, it is important to drink at least 1.5 L of water each day, in order to help the skin's natural hydration. Then there are some simple everyday gestures to remember: do not use aggressive cleaning agents, preferably use cold or warm water for washing, apply a good moisturizer, suitable for your skin type, both in terms of texture and ingredients composition.
